Name: Rhode Kamelot.
Series: D.Gray-Man.
Canon: OU.
Age: She's been Awake for 35 years - she appears to be around 10 or 12.
History: The story of Rhode Kamelot begins long before Rhode was even thought of.
7,000 years ago, there was a massive war - a war that ended in the destruction of the world. Only 14 individuals survived. They managed to survive thanks to a trans-dimensional Ark, which whisked them away and landed them in Japan without a scratch upon them. These 14 individuals would be the beginnings of the human race - 13 Apostles and 1 Leader. Over centuries, the genes and memories of Noah - the original founders of the human race - were passed down through generations of people, waiting to be awoken at the right time.
Sometime in the late 1880s, the Dreams of Noah were awoken in a little girl named Rhode Kamelot. 35 years after that, Rhode Kamelot met an Exorcist (one who is fated to destroy the Akuma with the deadly weapon of Innocence, the playthings of the Millennium Earl and the Noah) named Allen Walker in a town that was trapped within Time.
Rhode wasn't sent by the Earl to fight Allen, necessarily, but to destroy the Innocence that was located within the town so the Black Priests wouldn't be able to use it against them. It was during this adventure that Rhode kidnapped Allen Walker and Lenalee Lee with her Akuma posse, trapping them within a dream world, to fight against her. Despite Allen being an Exorcist and a human, Rhode takes a unique fondness to him. While Allen and Lenalee escape her world, Rhode's interest in Allen does not stop, and continues for as long as Allen chooses to fight as an Exorcist.
When the Noah and the Exorcists clash forces again, it is in Japan, which is a desloate wasteland full of Akuma. Rhode is given the task of re-downloading the Ark into a new Ark, something that only she is capable of. To amuse herself while the Ark was downloading - and to prevent Allen and his friends from interrupting the download - she and Tyki Mikk, the Pleasure of Noah, decided to construct a game: The Exorcists had four hours to figure out a way to get out of the Ark, or else they would be trapped forever. During the course of this event, many of the Exoricsts are trapped and left behind to fight various Noah. When they finally reach the top tier, only a select few remain - one of them, of course, is Allen Walker, much to Rhode's delight. He even gets a kiss in greeting.
But all's fair in love and war, and Rhode Kamelot loves to play games, especially with unsuspecting rabbits. So, upon arrival, Rhode trapped one of Allen's companions, Lavi, into a dream world. She lost and was subsequently punished only to emerge unharmed - speaking to her regenerative abilities as a Noah. For the moment, it appeared all was lost for the Exorcists, until Allen Walker decided to remember he was housing the Fourteenth, the traitorous Noah, and interrupted the download, securing the Ark for the Exorcists.
Little is known what happens to Rhode during the time between the Ark and when the Noah and the Exorcists clash again. Bits of her White Life are shown - being the adopted daughter of a diplomat, fancy parties, exclusive dances, Cyril and Tyki - but not much else according to planning the destruction of the human race and Innocence. We can safely assume that during this time, though, the Earl and the Noah are planning their next large assault on the Exorcists: awakening the Fourteenth fully and officially ruining Kanda Yuu's life forever.
(No, seriously.)
After some time going to school and leading a generally boring human life, Rhode is sent to America to steal an Artifact to revive the Akuma “egg” that the Exorcists stole those bastards took from the Ark. Unfortunately, she was brought into Kanda Yuu's mind, along with Allen Walker, to reveal some of the Black Order's history, which revolved around two boys: Kanda Yuu and Alma Karma. In a unique turn of events, Allen is overcome with anger at the progression of Kanda's memories, becoming overcome with rage that something so horrendous could have ever possibly happened to any human being - and Rhode snaps him out of it, forcing him to remember who he is and to remain focused on the memories, however horrible they may be.
Upon exiting Kanda's memories, Alma Karma, Kanda's childhood friend, awoke as an Akuma, thanks to the Millennium Earl's probing of Kanda's mind. There was an epic battle and Kanda, in his rage, stabs Allen in an attempt to kill Alma again. This manages to awake the Fourteenth Noah, the Musician, Neah - which ultimately causes the Order to turn against Allen Walker.
Once the battle is over and Alma Karma is defeated, Allen is dragged into a prison cell and locked away for some months for being a Noah. Allen is attacked by an independent Innocence and Tyki and Rhode show up in the nick of time to save him. Unfortunately, that's where the chapter ends - I can only assume that they showed up to bring the Fourteenth to the Earl, unless they have other motivations. When the new chapter comes out, I can clarify a little bit more. But, for now, her canon point is when they have located Allen and the Innocence is going beserk.
Personality: Black Life: Rhode Kamelot is a sadistic little girl who loves nothing more than to cause pain to those that wrong her... except, really, if you aren't a Noah and/or the Milliennium Earl, you have wronged her just by existing. She hates humans, she hates Innocence, and she has absolutely no problem in killing people in order to prove her point. However sadistic Rhode may be, however, the Family (her Noah comrades) are the most important thing to her. She is fiercely loyal to the Earl's mission and is fiercely loyal to her Family. She is shown to be affectionate, but only to the other Noah and Allen. She is Rhode: the Noah of Dreams. Not a shred of humanity attached - she views human beings as playthings, dollies to be dressed up and hearts to be shattered within her dream world. Despite all of this, Rhode seems to be relatively honest - she enjoys playing games with the Exorcists, but if they win her “game” (like Lavi, trapped within her dream world), she grants them whatever she promised (in Lavi's case, his freedom, once he stabbed dream!Rhode through the chest).
White Life: Not much is known about Rhode's White Life except for the fact that she plays the part of an ariostocratic spoiled daughter of Cyril Kamelot, who is also another Noah. She is adopted, by Cyril, and is spoiled rotten. She is shown to be affectionate and loving, albeit spoiled and vain, and tends to hang all over Tyki and Cyril like a normal ten year old clingy girl. It can be assumed that she's a fairly good actress - no one in the scenes shown is suspicious of the monster that lies within the frilly dresses.
Third-Person Sample: One moment, Rhode Kamelot had been in Allen Walker's arms. The next moment, she was standing on a deserted road, without Allen Walker, without Tyki Mikk, without what they had broken into the Black Order for.
How badly Rhode wanted to kill someone - her fingers positively itched for it - but she possessed a special sort of self-control that some of the Noah envied. As the Eldest, she had an image to uphold, or something of the sort. Cyril always told her to act a lady whenever she was before the masses - Rhode was perfect at acting the lady.
But now wasn't the time.
Rhode spun on her heels, tiny fingers curled into tiny fists, and she decided to yell:
“Tyki! Allen! Where are you? This isn't the time to be messing around!”
First-Person Sample Journal Post: [Only striped socks show for the moment, followed by patent-leather shoes, as a childish voice calls out into the wilderness.]
Tyki! Allen! Where are you? This isn't the time to be messing around!
[A small kick and the camera is flipped upwards to show a small child, roughly ten years old, fingers curled into fists, golden eyes flashing in anger - but not the sort of anger you would expect out of a little girl. She is furious.
Enter Rhode Kamelot.]
