heh. There's a difference between portraying an asshole as an asshole, and saying you want to machete a character into itty bitty pieces. That's...a bit much, IMO.

I just think that extreme a reaction is a sign of possible overinvestment. While yes, you can have that reaction because the characters aren't real, well, the characters aren't real. It seems extreme IMO.

I hated Sam Carter on Atlantis; did I join killcarter? No - that wasn't my thing.

Would I post an anti-Carter creed to the mcshep community? No. Being a fan of McShep =/= hating Carter. It's possible to be both, but it's also possible to be a McShep fan and love the character of Carter.

Just my feelings on the matter.
