They gym-staff told me it was safe to lift weights on the ball.
They told me the ball was rated for 800 pounds.
They told me the ball had anti-burst features and would not just suddenly explode, dumping me to the floor.
They told me using the ball would develope core muscles in ways a bench could not.
After the
ball burst, the gym's insurance company's investigation concluded I had been told the wrong weight capacity for the ball.
I'm not the only one.
