I’m alone in a decommissioned Navy building on a non-operational base scheduled to close soon. I’m nursing obsolete satellite tracking gear through a rainy night, standing the 2300-0700 watch. It’s quiet but for the rain drumming.

I love the rain - especially rainy nights. Sometimes I would just sit there at night, listening to the rain... and even in my soltitude, I would feel content.

And as for these criminals, the left/right paradigm is only there so we wouldn't get at the REAL criminals behind these puppets. Politics is like wrestling - on TV and during campaigns, the Dems and the Reps are at each other's throats... but in private, they're like pillow mates or something.
