Do you ever play boardgames these days?

I haven't played boardgames with physical people in years. At least I get some playtime on-line (Scrabble, Cartagena via youplay.it, Vinci via http://zocktempel.dyndns.org/vinci/spiele.shtml, and RoboRally via eyeplaygames.com). It really isn't the same, though.

Oh, I forgot about Cartagena at youplay.it! I used to play that regularly. Thanks for the reminder, I shall join a new game there. :)

I saw a funny blunder (well, funny to language geeks) about Vinci recently, when someone added it to a geeklist of games with Latin titles, mis-thinking it was from "veni vidi vici", when it's actually an Italian title.

You used to blog about fun experiences at Scrabble clubs and tournaments, as I recall. Maybe now would be a good time to get back into that!

Oooog. The last cool thing we did was the Dublin/UK trip back in June. We're in a bit of a rut currently, either working on the studio of the back house (which is kinda cool, albeit frustrating, in that we're seeing the unit come together and start to look livable) or simply watching TV together.

Mostly sleep, since that's the only time I can count on the brain not to scream at me.
