A couple of nice things

1) The Huns totally kicked ass in our matches against the Dallas Reds last weekend. Both matches were on the order of 50s to 10.
(The not-so-nice thing was that I got a calf strain at Thursday practice so I couldn't play. Even now I am unable to run at all.)

2) I got my first paycheck for the new job. Ah, to pay bills again.

Oh, wow. Somehow I completely missed the post in which you announced that you had a job. Belated congratulations.

Now you have to find some way to keep that rugby stuff from killing you. I prefer you in one piece.

It's good, but not great, since it was a pretty harsh pay cut I took. At least I can pay bills.

(Just not doctor ones, so phys therapy is out of the question for now.)

Frankly, I prefer me in one piece, too!

What, no health insurance?

1. My premiums are double what I paid at my previous job.
2. My deductible is higher (and in the thousands).
3. On top of the deductible, I pay $40 co-pay per visit.

All this combines to make actually going to the doctor prohibitive for me. I only have the coverage for catastrophic care and to allow me to keep playing.
