Heh. I'd always loved that show. I watched it well into my teens.

I'd like to say they're looking up, but I'm having a hard time with objective judgment.

I can give you one thing at least: The Electric Company is back on the air, as of a month ago. They've started filming, and have almost the whole alphabet done, plus a segment called "Jack Bawser: 24", and a guy dressed up as a beetle, very snarky, and the trademark HEY YOU GUYS!! at the beginning. Their website is terrific.

So there's that.

I don't know when cats learned to play fetch, but mine does it too. It was definitely new behavior for me to witness as well.

Mine did that, too. I'm pretty sure he wasn't a dog, either.

Of course, it had to be the right KIND of ball -- in his case, a crumpled bunch of foils from Hershey's Kisses, preferably in a color that contrasted the floor.

Hey, congrats on the new job thing.

It's funny to watch the 3-pound kitten tussle with the 105-pound dog over the fluffy ball.

Thanks! I wish the job paid better, but I'm more than capable of doing the work, I'm getting lots of positive feedback, and the company continues to hire, so at least things look stable.

The follow-up visit went great. I get to practice tomorrow! I hope the elliptical work I've done while waiting has kept me in good enough shape to hit the pitch Saturday.

Good to hear from you here. Scrabble tournaments will be fine w/o Hasbro. Club's still there on Monday night should you feel like dropping in.
