I'm posting here because it's too fucking sad that finally post after all this time and the first comment you get is some bloody spam. So, what's the deal with the Barbarians being blocked?
I'm really in the wrong mental space to post the way I used to. I don't know if I've "grown up" and have less need to inflict myself on people, or if I really have nothing to say, or if I'm going through a very unsocial phase, or am just too impatient with the delays inherent to dial-up, or some other reason. There's been bad blood between a couple of big-name teams and the Barbarians, and it looks like some IRB and USARugby bylaws are being quoted as an excuse to block the Barbarians presence, the effort being led by same big-name teams. (In my opinion, [but I am not a lawyer], all it would take for the Barbarians to play would be explicit permission by the presiding rugby union heads. Otherwise, if those bylaws were to be followed strictly, there could never be any sort of rugby whore-on team.)
