For those of you who don't already know this I generally connect to the internet by tethering my cell phone via USB to my laptop. It worked pretty well for basic stuff (similar to dial-up) for the most part but was still pretty kinda slow for things like uploading pictures and streaming video. um.. that is the geekiest thing i've heard all day. which is considerable, considering where i work. :)

It's also considerable that I'm pretty fucking awesome and getting back at AT&T by only paying $10 for internet speeds that I can get anywhere while people pay $40 for the same thing and can only get it home.... and yeah it was pretty geeky

However it's something I can do so why not?
