Some random analysis.
Ahem, allow me to launch into a really, really long ramble.
Earlier today, I came across the Gee MV again. It was addicting, as always. Then suddenly the impulse struck me to start researching the old live performances of Gee... which made me look for the old 10 Out Of 10 live perfs... which led me to go on a ride on old SHINee live performances ^^ I searched all their performances of titular tracks.
Firstly, I began with the VERY FIRST live they ever did; their debut stage with Noona Neomu Yeppeo.

Even though, yes, I haven't followed SHINee since the very start of their careers (I began this March! 8D Wow I still remember the backtracking and all...) this makes me feel a little... a little nostalgic. Hahaha, when I look at all these performances, I'm reminded again of what exactly made me fall in love with these 5 boys and I see their definite progress. They've improved in vocals (TAEMIN! Oh he makes me feel proud; he used to be one of the weakest vocalists in the group but now, I think he has really shown that he can perform well live, and his vocals are stronger.), improved appearance-wise, improved in stage presence. Me being the sort of person who really enjoys charting improvements, I daresay they've done one heck of a job this 2009. Right from the get-go, they've been working non-stop. And I'm really, very, very proud of that. *beams*
Okay in unrelated news, 2PM'S BACK! Though their marketing stunts are beginning to well... irk me (no srsly the heartbeat teasers scare me, kinda, with all the eyebags >.>), I really love their new songs. 'I Was Crazy About You' has been on repeat and 'Tired of Waiting' is quite catchy. I THINK THE SONGS IN THIS ALBUM IS RLY MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT THEY'VE PUT OUT SO FAR! 8D (I have a question though, what the heck is Taecyeon saying in I Was Crazy About You?? I keep hearing "fcked up! this is fcked up!" and... it puzzles me. Plus a video of them practicing the dance to Low was revealed! Okay I'm not going to put it here but I'll just say this: JUNHO&WOOYOUNG IMPRESSED ME SO MUCH (because I really honestly was not expecting much from their dancing) AND JAY IS.. JAY IS JUST AWESOME. Sometimes I feel puzzled as to why Jay can be such a good dancer. I mean, most of the better dancers (from what I've seen) are more slender and slim, so their moves are slicker and cleaner but as for Jay (who's erm, not really slender >.> he's so muscular!) he's just as smooth in his dance steps. Which amazes me, really 8D
Okay if this was tl;dr, I'll summarize it for you in one sentence:
SHINee REALLY HAS WONDERFUL IMPROVEMENT WHICH MAKES ME A PROUD DONGSAENG (you got that right) AND I PERSONALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR 2PM TO BE BACK, REGARDLESS WHETHER JAY'LL BE BACK (though I rly want him to, too)
