I love the way you color, very definite and rich but not overdone. The shirt is a thing of beauty and the parts of the window sill right under his arm and behind his shirt look great. And as always, mmmmm the hand is absolutely gorgeous. Some slight problems, the mouth is...a little too long possibly and just a bit off, and the writing on the mug might need to be just a bit more curved, it's making the mug look flat, but those are minor quibbles, I just keep staring at the shirt. Very nice :)

I love your comment and suggestions, please keep spoiling me with your nifty advice. ♥ I think - as we all know and love, Rodney's wide mouth is his distinctive feature, so I just keep thinking "his mouth is wide" obsessively and overdoing it a little when I draw his mouth all the time. And yes, the letter definitely needed to be more curved; I was doing it at the very last minute, and had gotten lazy about it. :( I'm just thrilled that you liked this, and especially the shirt, because quite frankly, I needed someone to tell me the shirt looks okay. :)

Ohhh, cool. I love the colors, especially the hair and shirt. And the penguin is love. ♥ The only thing I've noticed is that everything looks so real that the eyes make it look like he's not really smiling--not that the "realness" looks bad (because obviously I really, really like that), but that the eyes need to be squinched up a bit (really just the left one). If you cover the mouth and right eye you'll see what I mean. The hand looks good, but mostly I'm really loving the shirt and hair. The stubble also fills me with glee. Of course coffee is more important than shaving. ♥♥

Awww, thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. My penguin ended up fatter than the original, but I think that's okay. :) And yeah, I actually tried to make his left eye more... squinted, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted, so I just settled for somewhat half-smiling. Thanks for the pointers; I appreciate it. Heeee, of course coffee is way more important than shaving in Rodney world. :D

*beams* Thank you so much, sweets! I chose the yellow just because I wanted some warm and relatively bright color, but I'm silly and I cracked myself up because I made them living in the yellow house. I'm just thrilled that you liked it! ♥

Thank you very much! In my mind, Rodney bought the mug for John because he wanted to tease John about it, but he likes to use it for himself now and then.
