I realize it's too late, but I can assure you that Kanye is nothing special. He's a hot headed prick who made people at bonaroo wait an extra 3 hours for him to come on stage, and when I saw him at live earth, everyone was so "interested" that they were chatting through the whole set.

Yeah, that's what I gathered from the people who left his act about halfway through to see NIN. But the audience at NIN was much of the same, too... as spectacular as his show was, he didn't really connect with the audience. It felt more like a *show* than a concert, but I don't know what I was expecting really.
