at 27 you almost certainly wouldn't have type one (juvenile) diabetes, you'd have type 2, that would be the kind you don't take insulin shots.

You may be right, but as I understand it, there's a lot of dieting and pills to take and I've heard that a lot of people just find it easier to regulate with the pump for Type II.

The urinalysis isn't *that* uncommon for someone your age with "going a lot" symptoms. I had the same thing recently and they did several and then tried to do an IVP (inject you with dye and xray your kidneys). They didn't see much there because, oh hey, I'm allergic to IV contrast dye!

Water, water, water seems to help. If you've had an infection you need to exercise your bladder wall again.

Because the CMP covers most of the UA tests or it's derivatives (glucose, bilirubin, creatinine, B/C (Renal function) calculation, eGFR, etc.), it isn't normally considered if you plan on drawing blood. But considering the symptoms and that this was the first visit to my new primary care doctor, I guess you're right. Hopefully it's not much more than a lingering infection, but I tend to get all worked up with my health... but maybe I will get to have those fun tests you had!

Oh, boy! I really can't wait!

oh yes, those tests were fun! They were looking for blockages because nothing else made sense. I had an "infection" that took over a month's worth of antibiotics to "fix". They could have done an ultrasound but my doctor said if anything was wrong the IVP test would have to be done anyways, so why not just do that?

There's only a small chance one would be "allergic" to contrast dye. It's not a true allergy, it just mimics one. Women are more likely to have this reaction. The reaction went like this: OMG I can't feel my lips. OMG I can't breathe. OMG impending doom. *CODE BLUE* *Lots of stuff pumped into me to stop & restart heart* *Oxygen mask* *Ambulance ride to other hospital* *Benedryl*

I'm not kidding on the impending doom. I looked it up because the lady at work tried to tell me I faked it. It said, "Sudden feeling of impending doom". Ha, take that stupid lady at work!!!

Damn, that sounds sexy? Can I retroactively trade you an island monkey for that experience?
