[ Yay field trip from cells to auditorium? Heather sits on the floor cross-legged with a bowl of what appears to be anti-food. She kinda sits with her back to the stage, poking the anti-food with her utensil. ]Breakfast looks deader than usual. Health department? [Allen asked her, his eyebrow raised. He'd never heard of anything like it and shrugs once. He warily takes a bite of his breakfast and despite his distaste for it, keeps eating.]

This is what we get all the time on the upper level.

Really? You’ve really no idea? I mean, they say everything we’ve experienced prior to being here is all in our heads, so I was curious to know if they actually use those experiences to determine our danger level. Because, you know, that would be kind of ironic, wouldn’t it? [He’s just prattling, really, in his usual inane way, but there’s a thread of real curiosity beneath the absurd.]

It's almost enough to make me thankful for the usual breakfast we get.

Almost, huh? At least we can stomach the thought of consuming what we usually get. This doesn't appear to have been food at any point in its existence ever.

[ Tempted to dump it on the floor, but the guards might yell at her and make her clean it up. ]
