Summary: Kanda finally gets that pitiful little cough of his checked out.
When: DAY; after lunch.
Where: Starting in Kanda's cell, moving to the infirmary.
Status: Closed/Incomplete.
Seimei left little time in between the higher security level's lunch period and his trip up its stairs. Shut in those cells, how little was a relative matter, depending more on the patient than any absent clock. Just enough to let the foul taste of the meal seep into the tongue, not quite as much as one needed to force the first bite down, a few minutes too few for the stomach to have settled...? One of those or something in between. Whatever the specifics, he slipped through the hallways soon after and halted near one of the first cells past the end of the stairs.

Had he brought a guard, Seimei might have sent him in first. He had little taste for grunt work, and it would have been a nice touch to have Kanda restrained from behind as he said his hello's and escorted him out. This visit, though, was a personal project, and the day's labor was going to be all his. So it was his hand that pushed the door open. He took two steps in by himself, surveyed the nearly-bare room without a change of expression, then smiled at its occupant.
It was an emotionless smile for now. Anticipation didn't please him nearly enough for more.
"They didn't chain you over the laundry," Seimei observed, nodding.
"Kanda."
