In regards to applications, may we recycle parts of old applications (histories, personality sections, things of that nature) if we have applied for or played a character elsewhere?
Also, what is your policy on using a journal that's also used in other games?
Pardon my anon-commenting, I can't seem to log in. :|a Buggering LiveJournal.
Recycling application sections is fine, as long as the work is yours to start with. Since St. Edelweiss is a strictly comm-based game as well, there's no problem with using the same journal for a character that you use in another game. Basically, both work.
We hope to see an app from you in the future; thank you for your interest in the game!
Another application question for you, this time regarding the samples.
In the app description, you specifically mention past tense. I have a really good log I want to use, but it's in present tense. Should I go ahead and do something new, or can I use that? (The log in question, btw, is here.)
... Alternatively, I played Roxas (who I'm intending to app) at an action tag based game, and the opening post is log-y but the rest of it is action/voice-based, like this. Would this be acceptable?
If you're going to link to a log from elsewhere, the tense really isn't a major issue. It's only that we'd prefer something in past tense, if you plan on writing something new. As long as the samples give us enough material to get a feel for your writing ability and grasp of the character, you should be fine!
