Reserving saves you the anguish of working on an application for hours to find out someone else submitted theirs minutes before yours, or reserved before you were done.
• HOW TO: In order to place a reserve, merely copy the text in the text box, fill it out, and post it as a comment below.
• REQUIREMENTS: For information on our requirements for applications, we expect you to read our FAQ prior to reserving or applying. This pertains especially but not exclusively to staff applications.
• RESERVES & CHALLENGES: If someone has reserved a character, the only way you can apply for the same one is to challenge them. The winner is decided by judging the apps against one another. If your challenger/the person you challenged does not apply within the deadline, you automatically win the challenge. Once a character has been applied, no new challenges can be added against their application, even if the mods haven't processed the application yet.
• COMMENTS: As soon as we add you to the reservation list, you will be notified. The comments will be deleted either when the reserve expires and no further request for an extension was given, or when the application has been approved or denied.
• RESERVES FOR FRIENDS: No reserving for friends, sorry. Tell them to do it themselves.
• LIMITS: You are not allowed more than 3 reserves total at a time. Also no more than 2 character reserves from the same fandom.
• EXTENSIONS: You may request an extension in case you can't make it before the reserve expires - you have to request the extension before the reserve expires, however. Extensions will usually give you one week longer to hand in your application.
