Computer Customs

I put forth a bit of a serious entry today.  It turns out that I will have have high speed internet access in Mexico (yay!), but now I need to figure out how to get my computer there.  I've been told that shipping it (Fedex, etc) is a bad idea because things get hung up in customs or disapear.  It's a tower, and rather unwieldy.  Some ideas that I'

Idea 1) Don't go to Mexico and use your computer at your house :-P
Idea 2) I know how maleable your ass is, surely enough will fit in there
Idea 3) You are going to have a hell of a time getting the monitor anywhere even if you somehow figure out a way to break down the computer, go finance a laptop from Dell.

3) Have you seen my new flatscreen? Plus I'm too poor to finance anything. I have a friend who offered to sell me his laptop for a few hundred. It's only a year or two old, but I just don't have it.

1 year. I haven't announced cause I don't know exactly when I'm leaving. 2 or 3 weeks.

if you weren't going to announce it yet, talking about how you're gonna get your computer there didn't do a good job of hiding it. =P

eat all the parts and poop them out when you get there. just don't use water to flush it out.
have you seen MY new flatscreen? of course not. but it's an AOC 19" widescreen and I got it for $180

That would be great for smuggling. I could pretend that it was contraband and I was in danger of being arrested by interpol. Really all I would be in danger of is dying from eating a computer.
