The comin' of the snow reminded Bobby that he'd been on the island for just about a year. It had been snowin' when he first showed up, laid out on the ground courtesy of a demon wearin' a priest's body and attemptin' to hand the Colt to a Sam who wasn't there anymore. A helluva lot had happened since then, some good and some bad. Bela was gone now ( Read more... )

She'd been bundled for the new snowfall as she usually was; long underwear, jeans and her sweatshirt, and a heavy barn coat with a scarf and mittens. She liked the fresh air and still tried to get out for a walk now and again, even with the cold weather.

She was heading up to the compound when she started to get the weird feeling she was being watched. She shrugged it off and kept going up the path, when a blur of white came outta nowhere and slammed into the top of her shoulder, chunks of snow flying at her face. "Sonofa-" She bit off the end, spinning to see who'd thrown it at her, catching the brim of a cap out of the corner of her eye. "You're dead, Singer." She dropped to a crouch, balling the snow up quickly, firing off a quick shot and dropping to pack the snow again.

She took a step toward him, ducking behind a tree for only a moment as the snow hit just above her shoulder, sending a few stray flakes down her neck. Holy mothera-- She turned and fired two quick shots at him, hoping at least one might have caught a bit of trucker cap. She ducked down again for some more ammo, pink cheeked and breathless for a moment, eyes bright. She crouched by the tree, waiting to see where he'd taken cover, so she could really nail him.

Now there was that firecracker Bobby knew and loved like his own sister. The first shot missed, but the second caught him right in the brim of his trucker's cap, half of the snowball flyin' in his face. Wipin' snow outta his eyes, he quickly made a couple more snowballs, rising up slightly to fire 'em off in Ellen's direction, but also exposing his snow-covered cap and face in the process.
