You know, I voted for Groucho because I love chaos, but The 18th Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte is actually pretty funny.

Yeah, I really was surprised that parts of Marx were actually funny! He loves his subject and goes after it with great passion. Same thing with Adam Smith--I expected to hate Wealth of Nations, but it was brilliant. Making pins and selling linen should have been boring, but turned out to riviting. (Plus I love that Marx reacted so strongly to the horrid squalor of Industrialized England. He didn't just shrug it off or take it philosophically. He got angry!)

But Groucho, he has a special place in my heart even more so. I voted according to which lit me up more when I thought of him.
