I voted according to what I PREFER...not to which I think is strongest.

Because humidity is the freaking perma-PMS hellbitch of weather. Only worse...it's like a MAN would be if he had to go through labor pains and/or cramps every month. And then humidity is VIOLENT ABOUT IT OMG I HATE HUMIDITY SO MUCH!

*stabs her weather*

*sweats*

You know, up until last summer, my answer probably would've been different. I hate heat, and my time in Phoenix the summer before that sucked, but then I went to Vegas. And though it was still Far Too Hot for Ramis (as the guy in Phoenix said, "sure, it's a dry heat. But so's my OVEN.") I didn't think humidity made that big a difference until I got back to DC and it was like running full force into a brick wall.

ow.

95 to 115 degrees is just too hot. If I have a constant stream of cool drinks, shade, a pool or the Ocean, and the ability to jump into an air conditioned room. I'm OK with it.

But humidity? I never want it. I am never OK with it.

I KNOW.

*cries*

Humidity here today is at 86%, and while it's okay because it's cool today (only 68, atm) it's regularly that high and higher (every have a 95 degree summer day with 98% humidity? you want to KILL YOURSELF.) on a very regular basis.

WHY DO I LIVE HERE, AGAIN?

It gets like that in NYC in August. And when you go down into the subway you want to die.

Heat I can take without humidity, though I did burn my toes in five minutes once in Arizona. It's the humidity that, no matter the temp, makes you feel kind of off. I mean, I welcome it, it's the feeling of home, but if it would get to be 104 every once and a while without being 99% humidity, I wouldn't complain.

I think most people do not like humidity. I'm waiting for someone to come and say they don't mind it, or that one person who loves it! I can imagine such a person, just have not met him.

I'm another one that voted for heat, as it is far far preferable.
The only time humidity is acceptable is when it is actually raining.

And not always then, as I am not always happy when it rains. There are definitely times I would forgo the rain.

I feel kind of bad for the humidity. No one loves it.

Ok, 6 out of 20 people voted for it. They just aren't explaining their choice. :D
