Wow, I've never gone through as much shit with anything as I have with deciding what the fuck to do at school. I emailed my Policy professor from last semester to beg for some guidance. So I'll put that here so I don't have to describe my problem all over again ( Read more... )

I really feel for you and wish I had some sound advice. I only took two math classes in colleges, because of my Mass Comm degree. Math 101, which I got a C in then I took SOCL 316 Social Research Statistics. That course was fun because it was more relatable to real life and taught in the Sociology Department and not in the math department, anyway I ended up with a B in there. I dropped Physics that I had planned on taking my freshman year at NGC, because the professor talked about "we're going to be using calculus-based derivatives" or something like that and I was like ugh....Algebra II was the highest math class I completed in high school, and it seemed like it was going to be much more difficult than the physics cp class I had with Mrs. Dillard at Dorman. I love Biology and Geology because they are non-math based sciences. Best of luck in discerning a decision.

Yeah I took bio and astronomy. Astronomy required VERY little math, and what math it did require was just a few formulas that you plug stuff in. And she told us from the beginning that she was going to treat us as if we'd never had anything past arithmetic..and she did! I LOVED astronomy.
