For those who don't already know, I got a job at the local Wal-Mart in early March doing store setup. The job requires a lot of lifting, and..only a few days into it, I managed to get a hernia. (inguinal) It didn't hurt much except when I stood too long or carried things, but it was still a pain, and it required surgery ( Read more... )

Well, soon anyway. Last night I ordered an Asus A7N8X Nforce2 (non-deluxe) board with an Athlon XP 2000 and 256 megs of PC2700 Kingston RAM. I also ordered some Arctic Silver III and a Coolermaster CP5...something heatsink/fan. It's the quietest Athlon cooler tested at Tom's Hardware, and it cools fairly well.
