I have been in school for just under a month and already I have lost my second highlighter to my book on the Cold War for my International Relations class. There is so much to remember that I have used an entire green and an entire orange highlighter to mark important passages. I never realized how quickly I would go through my school supplies.

I woke up 2 hours early today so that I could have plenty of time to get ready and then watch The Greg Behrendt Show downstairs in the lounge. As it turns out, The Greg Behrendt Show is not airing on any of the CUTV channels. So while everyone else gets to watch the show on syndication, I can't because we only have cable channels.

That blows.

I was so disappointed this summer because I had to choose between Tilly & the Wall and Belle & Sebastian. I chose the latter, but wished I could have seen the former, as well. I love to pay close attention to the way each individual turns a phrase. Whether that means listening to nearby conversations, lectures, whispers, songs or even just reading graffitti- I just like to pay attention and find sentences or parts thereof that are ingenious. Some of today's examples:

Today I came home early after class because I have a cold and I didn't want to be that annoying sniffle-y kid in the library. I really need to finish reading this class packet by Sunday. I don't think I had ever met more than 2 other Carolines in my life, but now I have a class section of 25 people with 3 OTHER Carolines! That's CRAZY!!! It makes me feel so much less unique.

I slept in past noon today. Too much fun last night, I believe.

I have 18 days of music on iTunes, now. I'm getting there.

After a very long Friday involving classes and 3 hours at the library after classes, we decided to have some fun. We saw "V for Vendetta" on Libe Slope on a big screen. That was really fun. But it got cold and damp. Then we changed and went to hang w/ Fun Mike. Toga! LOL. Good times. I need sleep now.

Last semester, Tuesdays were my favorite days of the week because I could sleep in, then do some laundry, then eat breakfast and read in my PJs while listening to the torrents of rain outside the window.
