Four years ago today was the day of my first slow dance.  For those who didn't know me, or don't remember:  It was Nicole's sweet 16, I asked Andrew Lippman to dance.  He said no, which made me quite upset (I had been planning this for months, haha) so  all my friends played the emotional blackmail game and made him dance with me.  We danced

I was having similar thoughts on July 4th, mainly because I have pretty vivid memories of what happened even a year ago. It made me think about how things are different.....and yeah, it was sort of weird looking back on one year, much less four.
