This is not a case where there's a radical extreme and a body of normal people. No. Every PETA member I have ever met, whether they're proselytizers or not, is an extremist. Every one of them.

Oh no... I've despised PETA forever... this is just one of those times when I can actually speak with some authority on their idiocy. :)

Its funny but it was a HUGE disappointment to me when I found out Bill Mahr was a PETA person. He had the head of PETA on his show and I thought to myself - oh good he's going to skewer her... but then he was all softballs and comfy pillows. I was so disappointed in him. LOL!

BTW, since I have expended my job search beyond the borders of Cleveland, one of the places I'm looking for jobs is Pgh. You got a whole lot more of them than we do-- I've put in more applications in Allegheny and Butler counties this weekend than I have in Cleveland in the past three weeks.

Oh, gross. I have worked with non-profit animal rescue organizations over the last several years and haven't heard ONE person say that they have any respect for PETA. Although there are certainly some very scary people in these groups who I have no doubt would be appalled to know that I actually discipline and "train" my dog. PETA are extremist wack jobs and give animal rescue a bad name. Yes, fuck PETA indeed.

That being said, I wonder if someone as busy as Biden is going to be will have the time and energy it's going to take to train his dog...a puppy no less. Seems like a less energetic, less intelligent breed may have been a better choice but, that's just my 2-cents and doesn't have anything to do with the point you're trying to make. :)
