So most of you know Matt. Or at least know of him. Last any of you heard of him, he went off to some boarding school because he was so screwed up and "stupid" as some people called him due to his use of drugs on school property (which led to his expulsion) Well, whatever you thought of him, whether truth or lie, may be rethought now. That's really moving, and amazing to know that his life has changed so dramatically... He deserves to get into college with that essay. I just wanted to thank you for sharing that, because it not only shows the power God has, but prompts me to ask myself how I'm doing. And a lot of times here at school, that's not a big priority... and it should be.

On a *completely* unrelated note, how's the scarf coming?

Hey! Yeah, I hope it challenges you, or if anything makes you bring praise to God. I know it sure does for me. The scarf is coming great! Everyone loves it. Question tho. Do you like your scarves thick or thin? Let me know!

Stef, I know this is way late from when you posted it but, for some reason Matt has been on my mind all day. I had a dream about him last night so I think that is why...you know how I get with dreams...

Anyway, I just had to come back and read this. Where did you find it and do you know where Matt is going to school now?

I was kinda upset when I read this the first time for selfish reasons but when I went and read it today it just makes me so happy. Perhaps, someday, I will get to know the new Matt.

Hey! Don't worry, your comments are never too late! I was thinking about it, and actually can't remember how I figured out he was back in town and that he was actually nice now and gave him a call. Oh yes, actually, I remember now! Hehe. Okay, so I asked Mr. Irwin to do my college recommendations for Taylor, and I went over one day to pick them up. Then as I was leaving, Mrs. Irwin said "Matt's downstairs and wants to talk to you" and I was just like "hmm, weird, I didn't think he really liked me, and I haven't talked to him in forever" but I went down anyway. We just started talking he seemed really nice and we found we had some stuff in common. I didn't stay long tho, but the next time I came over there (cuz when I went that first time, Mr. I actually didn't have them done) I hung out with Matt a longer time and found out we had a ton in common! So, I've hung out w/ him and talked to him more since, and I've found out all the amazing things God has been doing in his life. He e-mailed me his application essays to Taylor ( ( ... )
