As the title reads, I've been here in Athens for officially...one week! Wow, it seems like way longer. It's been a weird week for sure--a lot of excitement, but at the same time a good share of loneliness and boredom. I really dislike that everyone seems to think that I should be having constant fun over here--Athens isn't ALL gyros, ouzo, and hot

Have you tried pretending to be Canadian?

Stuff around here is pretty much normal except for the complete lack of Stefan. The uber-winter seems like it might finally be dying. We've only had about 6 inches of snow since you left. What is the weather like there?

Well it's not like they really give me a chance to pretend to be Canadian. They just see the way I talk and look, and assume American. So, other than adding "eh" to every Greek sentence, I'm not exactly sure what I could do. :P

I can't believe that the uber-winter had to die when I left. Not only that, but my flight STILL got screwed up due to snow! Oh well. Weather here ownz0rs; when it gets into the 50s all the native Greeks complain about the cold. :) So yay. I can actually jog outside! In January/February!

I think I may have pissed off the weather gods. Since I wrote that first reply we've had about 6 more inches of snow and more is supposedly on the way. The uber-winter might still be on after all.
