uugghhhh guess who is back on the bland diet? yeah. i won't go into details but it seems like the first batch of anti-biotics didn't kill the parasites. soooo, i don't know what to do. i'm not going back on those anti-biotics until after sxsw. i can't do it. those pills made me feel soooo sick, in a different way, and i don't want to put myself

haha yeah. and the worst part is, i don't really even have time to go to the doctor until after sxsw because i already lied and said i was going to the doctor when i'm going to get that decemberists/gomez ticket. haha karma is a bitch!!

here's a possibility... antibiotics kill off the good bacteria in your gut as well... it's thought by some that being on antibiotics many times or for a prolonged period in a persons life can actually be what sets off a lot of GI disorders... i think that it might have played a role in mine. i was on antibiotics a lot as a kid cuz i got frequent ear infections, and i had pertussis for a couple of weeks at the end of 2004 before i really realized it and got on antibiotics for that... and it was right after that that i started experiencing gut problems and it all went downhill from there. so maybe you're just outta whack from the antibiotics messing with your system. maybe you should look in to getting a bottle of probiotics and try those for a couple of weeks and see if that helps out.

i've actually been drinking this probiotic yogurt drink for a couple of weeks now. so, i dunno? my doctor did tell me to expect this to happen because i guess it happens in a lot of cases: the parasites don't actually die, they just become subdued for a while. i'm going to try to go to the doctor tomorrow but if i can't, it'll be the following tuesday before i can see him. bleh.
