i needed to come up with this emo post,
cos otherwise these unexplainable feelings will eat me up.
everyone's in the christmas cheer,
feeling like celebrating the new year,
move on to another phase in life
by rushin in the new year
to forget all the problems that have come and gone in the year.
but there are people are out there
hoping to hold on to every single second of every single day.
just gripping on to the hope
that things will take a turn for the better.
my former classmate is in ICU...
we're all hoping to visit her tmr.
BUT PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS.
she's sixteen years old,
a super smart girl with a bright future ahead of her.
you guys may not know her,
but please pray for my dear friend
that she'll be able to pull through this crisis.
the power of prayer is so wonderful,
so spread the love during this season of celebration,
that we may be celebrating her road to recovery soon enough.
it just reminds me time and time again,
how fragile life can be.
it proves how weak we are,
and we unforeseeably stumble
and unable to pick up.
we can only hope for the best,
and keep our chins up.
hold her in our fervent prayers.
i won't cry, i'll smile,
cos i know that god will hold her by the hand.
the lord is my shepherd,
i shall not want;
he makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and i shall dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
Psalm 23
i believe the lord will walk us out of this darkness into the light,
for he is our protector and saviour.
DOn't say gooodbye .
i'm not ready to say goodbye
