Crock pot question!

So I am finally using my slow cooker today! I put everything in it this morning, but this was the first second I had to sit down.

The lid on my slow cooker doesnt fit flush inside the ceramic insert- if that makes sense, lol. It doesnt sit tight like the lid of a pot. Is it supposed to be like that?

I think I get what you mean lol like, it doesn't form a tight seal kind of fit? If that is the case, then yeah, that's fine. Mine sits on the "lip" of the ceramic insert of the crockpot, but it doesn't like "clamp" shut like my oven top pots and pans lids fit onto them.

Ok, lol. I couldnt figure out a good way to really explain it! I made a pot roast in it last night and it was fantastic!!!! I wrote down the recipies you gave me and will pick that stuff up on my next grocery run!
