Does anyone have an idea for how I could not work and still support my family? I feel like i'm missing EVERYTHING. Plus, i'm a little tired of working at a job that I don't care about.
hmm... the way I see it, you need lots of money in less time... maybe waitressing a lunch shift? That way you'd only have to work 3-4 hours but still hopefully pull in as much as 8 hours at a regular job. Or online medical appointment making, or something like that. Have you searched online options? Tutoring online?... Tutoring in real life? I heard tutors make a pretty penny. (Just brainstorming here)
I wish you much luck. It's hard to make ends meet with a family!
go into debt. does rick use all his student loan options...use them all, pay later. i think the biggest problem would be getting health insurance...damn america. maybe if you could be a lunch lady or a crossing guard (or another 2-4 hour a day job) you could buy into health insurance. good luck!
We done went into debt!! I think it would be possible to live off rick's loans if we really work on our expenses. We'd probably qualify for wic and the ingham county health plan, too.
I want to stay home. I hate the thought of other people getting to spend more time with Al than I do.
The system is there,I say use it. if you have any interest in working with kids with special needs you could do some respite on the side or work in an after school program for a little extra cash. I can give you the name of the place I worked if you want. you don't get paid a lot but they always need people and with the respite you can work whatever hours you want. i'm sure there's other part-time stuff but that's just what i know about.

I would probably consider working at a coffee shop or something part time, but i'm not a huge fan of waitressing.
