I found out today that it costs about 300,000 to start up a beaners and you have to have 1/3 of it up front. I don't know a ton about it, but I think we could start a beaners that caters to stay at home moms. It could have a play area and baby swings and daily activities for kids and maybe even bands at night...And a patio for well behaved dogs to ( Read more... )

you should just start your own independent coffee shop! i like the kid area ideas. very progressive! you could host "mommies meet" events and "baby dates" (i don't mean like you're trying start your babies off dating or anything, i just mean play dates!). and yes, dogs on the patio! patio is better than nothing, though inside would be the coolest.
wish i was rich, i'd invest!

Selina's right. Independent is probably better. They're may be more guidelines and stuff if you're part of a bigger company. Then you'd have less freedom to make it yours and make you happy.

I could totally go for a business where all of our friends run it. We are all good at everything we do. We could probably pull it off.
