What a fun opportunity, my dear. It must be cool to compose the text for an award for someone you know. Will you be able to be there when it is awarded, and thereby see for yourself if she likes it?

For a wonder, yes, I will be at the event, and in court, when she receives it. I think this will be only the second time I've known the recipient, and also the second time I'll see it given (the other was for a Concordian baronial award, and I could tell the recipient really liked it). Another award with my wording was given at a Birka that I attended, but I had been unable to get away from the booth for court, so I didn't hear it given. Mostly I haven't even been at whatever the event was, so I'm quite excited. I haven't even told her husband I was the back-up writer. :)
