I had the interview at Channel 6 yesterday., at 11:30 am. It was almost 1:30 by the time I left. I talked to four people (the assistant/acting news director, the executive producer, one of the assignment editors and one of the Internet content folk) and got quick tours of the main studio and the control room, and a wee peek at the original studio,

WRGB, on Balltown Road in Niakayuna/Schenectady, was founded in 1928 as part of the early experiments with television, and appears to actually be the oldest station, period.
