I don't want to be homely no more

I've had a makeover, kind of! I've been dying my hair from a box for a while now, and it's been looking kind of... yellow. And stringy. And gross. So I've been wanting to chop it off, but I wanted to lose weight first because when my hair is short and the rest of me is big, it looks stupid. You're not homely. You're hip and groovin!!

I understand what you're saying. I have a hard time reconciling in my head why I'm doing what I'm doing. I tell myself it's because I'm unhealthy, but the reward I have set up for myself at the end of this is a nice new leather coat. I think it's probably both - I want to feel better and look better. If I manage that, I think happiness is in order.

Honestly, I started working out only because IBM gives you $350 if you workout for 10 out of 12 weeks and log your activity in this web thingy. I knew for a long time that I was getting fat, from looking in the mirror and snide remarks from the likes of Mike Roberts, but it was hard to get motivated w/o the bling.

After I getting my l00t I kept it up because I wanted to look good on stage for Daddy's Girl. Now it's weird, I feel compelled to run faster and longer. I don't know why, I suspect that it's because I deep-down inside know that it's only a matter of time until I've gotta run from cops. I may even try to run a marthon.
