Screw you all that think it's right for the US to practice imperialism again. Screw you all that think it's right for us to be in Iraq. Screw you all that think it's right for us to think about likely take action in Iran. Screw you all that think that the US should be the international police. Colonization was proven not to work for the British ( Read more... )

I agree with most of your post except the part about middle eastern countries uniting. I dont see this happening anytime soon. You have sunnis and shiites and a few other off brands all of which tend to not like each other and when they arent hating those "western devils" theryre hating each other. I dont put it beyond possibility though, i bet it could happen given the right circumstances. I suppose they could unite. I just dont see it happening in the near future. But you were right about oil prices going up because of all this crap. This is why we need to ween ourselves off burning dead plants and move on. Fusion?, fuel cells anyone??? Hell, we dont even the need fusion, lets just use plain old nuclear(fission), that gives us all the energy we need for electricty and the energy for liquifying hydrogen(which our fuel cell cars would run on). We could have a fossil fuel free economy in a decade or two. But with bush and other like minded individuals in office that isnt gonna happen C'mon its the twenty first century.

True, there are two major political parties in place in the meantime. You're right, the unity of Muslims will probably take a while, but just remember our own history. Maybe not between political parties, but the British and the thirteen colonies. It took a little while, but now we're allies.

The war was a good idea in the beginning, because do you remember all of the terrorist attacks before on the us, and nothing happened? well guess what. 9/11 happened, and we FINALLY took soma action. I'm not saying the action was the best thought out process or best executed, but still something had to be done. You HAVE to agree on that. Fuel cell should be where we spend our billions on, but you know, the govt needs their tax money, so they decide to push around the middle eastern nations, so they can get their money to spend on ridiculous things. Its ALL a money thing if you have not figured it out already, steiner. They are in it for the MONEY, LIKE ALL OF US ARE IN LIFE - which sadly, is what the Bible says has and will be a problem forever, so there is no getting around it. That is why I think we are in Iraq. Sure we are doing good things over there, but that is mostly to keep our nation happy. sorry to all those that do not understand politics, but thats basically it if I am not mistaken. M.O.N.E.Y.

In case you forgot, we went into Iraq not because of 911, but to kick out Saddam, one damn person. The war in Afghanistan WAS a good idea, diirectly because of 911. I understand that the nation is a democrat-dominated media, therefore most of the negative publiity will show up on television criticizing Bush. Most of it, he deserves, maybe not 911, but the rest of it, yes. Secondly, do you REALLY think it's worth it to be in Iraq when the world knows it's just another Vietnam? Is it worth losing all of those people in Iraq to make money for our own nation? Or so you say we are.

True about the whole Saddam thing, but we should've gotten him out before 9/11. I guess America figured since we were already over there working on the Afganistan terrorists, we would get out Saddam out as well. I'm probably wrong, but thats how I see it. We needed to get him out a long time out ago, but America would not take any action, and was a pussy. Us STILL being in Iraq is not something I agree on because it does not take this long to train the Iraqui police to keep control of the city. We did the right thing in getting Saddam out of office, but now it is time for us to move on, not stay there permanently like we are still in Germany (the whole Germany thing pisses me off, but thats a diff argument ( ... )
