While trying to fall asleep the other night, I came up with what I thought was a brilliant idea for another blog (not the one that will make me a ton of money and launch a book tour, alas). In the morning it seemed slightly less brilliant, but I started it anyway. And now that I have more than one post, I will share the link

I like Letters From Renee! It seems tricky to keep up one blog, though, let alone two (or three (four?) if we count LJ). I bow to your awesome blogging skills. Also, today I felt like writing the following:

Dear Guy Who Lives Above Me,

It is so great that you are passionate about your music. I'm sure your drum skills will take you far in life someday, especially with the amount of practice you put in. But you know what else would take you far in life? The truck I dump your unconscious body into if you continue beating that drum set from midnight to three AM. Humans are diurnal creatures: look it up.

I know you're in town this week. If you're not too busy, we should get together for coffee and catch up. No pressure if your week is already planned.

It really has been forever since we've seen each other! Unfortunately (as usual), I've overbooked my stay here this week. I'll definitely be in town at least a couple more times this summer, we should get together!
