I always felt like ONTD and all the offspring comms were filled with five year olds. I don't follow any of them and this is a good example as to why I avoid fandoms of bands. I just enjoy the music and lives and life is a lot nicer.

The thing is, I depend on omonatheydidnt to direct me towards the live performances on weekly music shows - because I really do suck at remembering when the shows actually air on TV. And I get that all these communities have trolls, wankers and fandom elitists, but usually, when it comes to events such as national tragedies, the majority of the population would know how to comment/behave. It just seems really strange to me that so many of them were commenting instead that Korea "needs to get a move on".

I just checked the post again this morning though, and it doesn't look as bad anymore. I think all the sane people must've been sleeping when the article first got posted.

Darling, I think I love you. This story is tragic, especially considering the loss of life. It's depressing to think that there seems to be a generation of people that are focused more on idols than what is actually going on in the world.

I lost my appetite after reading the articles online, I don't know how any of those jackasses could find the heart to whine about a stupid show. (And I say this with all the love I have in my heart for Korean music shows, I do, I do.) Like fine, I don't expect you to leave ultra-sympathetic comments but to bitch about how Korean TV stations are over-doing it, etc, just...what is wrong with them?

lol I nearly wrote in this entry, "Since when did Omona get taken over by a bunch of twelve-year-olds?" And then I thought, you know what, I could be insulting a lot of twelve-year-olds.

They need to be whipped. With a cattle prod. Where's Sab when you need her?

I know. :( I was kind of sad when I first saw that post. It's like, you have to be really cold not to be able to see the bigger picture.
