Sadly, no. I was, however, wearing a crocheted, furry, beaded eyelash yarn thing (not made by me) that could reasonably be described as ...
... wait for it ...
... a small boa. (Ha!)
The people at our showing, which was fairly sparse, did not appear to be die-hards, although there was a row of folks in the back who might have been. Folks applauded The Line, though.
We went at the 10pm preview on Thursday. The theatre was packed full of die-hards. We cheered when the previews started. We cheered when the lights went down. We cheered for the movie title and for Samuel L. Jackson's name. We cheered when he first came on screen, when the snakes were released, for the most spectacular deaths (both human and snake) and of course for The Line. And our group indeed had rubber snakes!
so this is a very late response but I sure saw that the very night it came out. In my area the theatre had less than 20 people and it was such a home theatre atmosphere I couldn't have had a bad time if I'd tried! Also, everyone in the theatre applauded when the "signature line" was spoken.
wow... you may update less than I do... impressive.
