Technology woes

So Best Buy was going to charge me $85 just to send my Blu-Ray player in for service, plus up to $150 more to actually fix it. This is ridiculous since the whole player only cost $300 to begin with and they now sell some streaming players for around $200. This is all good to know! I thought LG was supposed to be pretty quality for Blu-Ray and since I've been looking into getting one (especially for that sweet Netflix streaming dealio), that concerns me. SIGH, SHOPPING IS HARD.
