Back at work today, and, while it was a fairly quiet day, I'm glad that this is going to be a short week for me. I'm still feeling congested and sore throat-y and just sort of generally wrung out and tired

Cross-country roadtrip! Awesome! I can see how you're looking forward to that. Apart from it crowning the move, but that goes without saying. Do you know what you're going to visit yet?

Life without jackets... I can't quite remember how that feels, but we'll get there eventually, too. For now, the city's still frozen. But at least it's sunny today and the sky is blue. Yay.

We do have a few ideas in mind already, including Graceland, the Delta Blues Museum, New Orleans, and the Grand Canyon. It's going to be very exciting, and we're both really looking forward to the chance to see more of the country.

Yay for blue skies and sun! Unfortunately, today here we were back to damp and overcast (and it's raining right now), and it looks like we're in for a fair amount of rain over the next week, too. *sigh* So close and yet so far...
