Projects 2008
Posting this now so it can be filled in as I go, just like 2007.
For the record and predated so I can find it easily.
Clothing:

blue linen footless hose (Hedeby style and male) (J) (~19.1.08, 27.1.08)
white linen men's undertunic (J) (~19.1.08, 27.1.08)
black cotton drill victorian corset (J) (~15.2.08, 22.2.08)
green (old 2nd hand sheet) late Victorian petticoat(wearable, but really needs seams finished)(~1 week, finished 2.3.08, in time for ~8.3.08)
blue wool 1895 era walking skirt (more wearable but needs seams finished)(~1 week in time for 8.3.08)*
Red/brown plaid viking/AS mens tunic (J) (Couple weeks before CF, was wearable for CF, Seams finished 5.5.08)
2 brown wool naalbinded socks (J) (July??)
White linen brais (J). They were wearable at CF but finally got around to finishing the seams @ WW (Start of August).
Blackworked collar piece for pepperbeast for here. No progress on any of the others though.
Green oilskin hood (commission from NAAMA 07). (Started 30.8.08, finished 30.8.08 ~1 1/2 hours later. All machined though, no hand finishing. Only ~10.5 months since was commissioned...)
Charcoal oilskin hood (added to the commission from NAAMA 07). (~16.9.08, ~1 1/2 hours). Fully machined.
Other:
Pair of small wax tablets. Sawed out 4, but two were broken when chiseling. Thin wood ex venitian blind slats. (started ?, chiseled out and waxed Nov MLH camp)
Purple felt finger puppet bat (started and finished on Cook Strait ferry sailing 26.12.08) for Z's nephew A.
Joint projects:
(Since Z did the last stitching, though I did all the rest) replacement handbag. ~2 nights 9.6.08.
1 green oilskin cloak (commission from NAAMA 07). (Started a few weeks/ a month ago when we got the industrial sewing machine but there were some bobbin issues. Need new bobbins as only have one and that has brown on it. Finished 30.8.08). I did machining, Z did stapling and eyelets.
1 charcoal oilskin cloak (commission same guy who ordered the above cloak at NAAMA 07). (Started a few weeks/ a month ago when we got the industrial sewing machine but there were some bobbin issues. Need new bobbins as only have one and that has brown on it. Finished 30.8.08). I did machining, Z did stapling and eyelets.
Viking banners - fabric paint on calico (in time for DA, final tweaking/tidying a month or two later). 2 interlace banners based on pattern from Viking cross in England, one big on based on the Larbro stone from Gotland.
