tomorrow i'm going to the truth spa/salon to get a manicure and a haircut... i didn't want to drive all the way out to troy so i could go to heidi's salon because that's just unnecessary, and even though it's sort of cheating on sophie by going someplace else, i've always had this thing about having a guy cut my hair... so i actually had to request a male hairdresser when i called. maybe it's ridiculous, i don't know. for all of two seconds i thought i could grow out my hair but it's obviously not working. and i'm sure i'll be in good hands at that place anyway...
i swear my life revolves around more things than my hair. but it's been proven that women who get their hair cut feel better about themselves afterwards, and it's also a great chance for a 'new beginning' and/or it gives a final sense of closure. i guess i'm always looking for closure, i cut my hair all of the damn time.
i'm just tired of things. i don't know why it's this dark cloud that hangs over my head, i don't know why i care about it at all. the other party doesn't. or does, but won't show it because that shows weakness, or vulnerability, or something. lately i've just been vocal, i get so frustrated to the point where i need to let someone know what i'm thinking and why i feel this way and i need them to help reassure me that they'd be reacting the same way, that i'm not going completely crazy.
i need friends, i need contact in high doses. at least i'll get most of that on saturday. i need my fix.
