I feel exactly the same way about icons ! I take a lot of time to make icons, and then, I think it's crap :( But eventually, you'll make one nice or find a good photoshop trick... and you're happy ^^

Adding light textures or brushes is pretty easy, you can find good tutorial (and not so complicated) at icon_tutorial. I found this one : http://www.livejournal.com/community/icon_tutorial/237316.html very helpful !

Okay, I'm still a beginner (I've really and seriously started icon-making in september) and when I'll be an expert, I'll make a beautiful layout too ^^

Enough of the blabla, I'll add you (if you don't mind). And forgive my bad writing, I speak better french ^^

It took me forever to make the icons look good enough to post. And when I did post them I started thinking they were crap again.

Thanks. I've been looking for a tutorial on how to add light textures and brushes. I'll be sure to check it out.

Hey, I was just doing that find your school thing, and we went to the same JHS .. Marine Park .. I have no idea if we knew each other even though you graduated a year before me, but wouldn't that be cool? Anywayz glad to see your a FMA fan too !!!!
I would have to say my fave song is Ed's - returnable memories , I think thats what it is called. cya!!

Sorry I took so long to reply.

I never used the find your school thing to look for other members I didn't even know that was possible. I think I knew a few people who graduated after me.

I like finding out that there are others interested in FMA. I don't think I have a fave FMA song since I like so many of them. But if I had to pick one off the top of my head I would say 'I Will' the last ending theme for the series.
