So, I haven't written here in almost a year, mostly because I had a job that didn't involve a desk. Also, I'm lazy. But now I'm out of the classroom and back in an office, and I have time to waste once more. I don't want to type all the things that I've been doing over the past year, so here's the quick status check of what I'm doing now

* got my bachelor's in may
* working on my master's degree at simmons
* working as an infant teacher at a preschool, ee
* living with alexander
* getting married this coming august

how do you like seattle?

I love Seattle. I grew up here, but in the way-out suburbs, and now I'm actually living in the city. It's relaxed and funky and gorgeous. Also, MUCH cheaper than the Bay Area.

i've always been intrigued by the pacific northwest. and talk about coincidence, *i* now live in the bay area (we moved here -silicon valley, actually- in august, and now i'm going to UCSF...i hate my commute).

do you know anything about portland? i think i'd like to live there someday.

My sister goes to school in Portland, but I actually haven't spent much time there. She loves it, and I've heard that it's much like Seattle was 10 years ago (meaning slightly less yuppy).
