I frequently feel like I am just killing time.  Not only at my job, where that's pretty much all I do, but in life in general.  I waste time on the Internet at work until I can go home.  I sit around at home until it's time to eat (or work out, or drink beer).  I wait all week for the weekend, and then wonder what I'm going to do with it.  Probably ( Read more... )

Well reading good books is never wasted time.

I can give suggestions if you want, name some of your favorites so I can have an idea what you like.

Tom Robbins is my favorite author EVER, and so I tend to like Ken Kesey, etc., as well. I also enjoy Nick Hornby, David Sedaris, Bill Bryson...anyone who's kind of a smartass.

Really, though, I will read anything, fiction or non-fiction.
