Right back atchu! Yeah, next year shall be quite different. Especially being in Photo because I will no longer see the many seniors(including yourself) that inhabit the room. Yeah, that will be really weird. Maybe all the Sophomores in there currently will begin to be the keepers of the Photo-room, but who knows. It shall be weird, but when I come up to NYC, we best be hangin' out or sumtin!

those are some admirably honest answers. i see you in a new light, kid. also, sometimes you don't know how good (or admittedly bad) a song is until you show it to someone. never feel cheap about seeing new qualities in your work after someone else has pointed them out to you, just as long as you actually believe what they're saying rather than blindly accepting it. i'm not saying show me everything, but if you have someone close who you know will be honest with you (and you seemed to describe your friends as such) that can be a good starting place. i used to think a lot of my favorites songs i wrote for the craters were throwaways until jared or stepner or jesse pointed out stuff they liked about them. conversely, some stuff i was really into at first i don't really like as much now that i've realized they were right about them being cheesy. but if i always kept everything to myself i really doubt i'd have grown a 10th as much as a song writer as i have. anyway it's just a suggestion.

True, but I seem to not be able to write the songs I want to write, if that makes sense. Somehow through Guitar and Bass, I am able to just kind of randomly adopt some new technique in just a day, and it isn't a gradual thing(i.e. Slap bass - just happened one day. Bar chords - One day it felt comfortable to do them when the day before I denounced bar chords forever!). I feel like song writing will be that way too and I will show my work once I feel like it is something I would be proud of or atleast it would be the sound I want.
Hopefully you understood something in that mess.
