A couple of weeks ago, Dave and I stopped at a tiny Celtic book store on Elm Street. It's a place that, despite passing daily, I had never had the inclination to stop in when they were open (partly because it closes well before my normal roaming hours begin). the people i work for offer historical pictures of boston online at bostonhistory.org, but i don't think they have many pictures from outside the limits of boston.

other than that i'm not sure... try the somerville historical society as well
