I'm working. A lot.

Me workey long time. Hence, no posting of late. Not likely to get much better any time soon. Sigh. Damn campaign launches.

I would, however, like to say that the judging on this week's episode of Project Runway was the biggest load of bullshit EVER.

That is all.

Hear hear. Terri may have been a bitch, but she should have made it to Bryant Park; she, Leanne, and Korto were the only consistently good designers on the show.

I'm pissed about Terri, but less than I am about Kenley. (Although Terri has a great eye for color and can make a beautiful garment, I was getting bored of all those pants and blazers.) The judges SERIOUSLY thought two garments on the runway were worse than Kenley's vomitous Mickey Mouse-trosity?

I'm also really annoyed that SIX designers are showing at Bryant Park this year. That's the real prize, whether you're doing it as a finalist or as a decoy; the $100K (especially after taxes) is just window dressing. So six out of sixteen get to go? Doesn't seem like that special of a prize any more!

I agree with that last comment. Having seen the collections on Project Rungay, I'd say that only two of them were really good (and the commenters seem to agree with me). Hopefully having several lousy collections go down the runway will cause the powers that be to knock it back down to just one decoy; I think this may have been caused by the weird scheduling of this season.

Oh oh oh! Thanks for reminding me that the Rungay boys were going to have photos up! And man, that is a whole lotta ugly, with the exception of Korto's and Leanne's. It's going to be a tough call between those two (unless one of them got surprise-aufed before the finale, in which case I will curse). Korto has such a beautiful way of working with color and prints, and Leanne's is so architectural.
